Oasis lights up the ore valley
Hastings Trust managed project, Oasis is working alongside Hastings and St. Leonards Primary Care Trust in the Community falls Prevention Project.

As part of this initiative Oasis Co-ordinator Jackie Gaunt and Oasis Befriending Scheme volunteer Michelle Holloway have been installing long life light bulbs to residents who may be at risk of falling if they climb to change a light bulb themselves.
Hastings Borough Council supplied the light bulbs to the Ore team of the project.
There are also teams in Hollington and Central St.Leonards, all three teams recently attended a conference on Falls Prevention in Blackpool.
