Outings Over 50's Christmas Lunch Once again Christmas is nearly upon us, and its time to start thinking of the seasonal lunch. I have included a choice of three different venues, that all have disabled access. The Victoria Inn (Battle Road, St. Leonards) informs me they have a slope to the toilet but there is not room to take a wheelchair actually in the toilet. The Harvester (at Eastbourne Harbour), Dr Beechings (Bexhill) and the White Hart Beefeater (Winchelsea Road, Hastings) tell me they all have disabled toilets. On the double menu page, you will find The Harvester on the left hand side at £9.97 for three courses, while the Victoria Inn menu is on the right hand side at£17.95 for three courses. Dr Beechings menu is a full A4 with Christmas Trees around the outside at £9.50 for four courses There are two menu’s from the Beefeater, - One is £7.99(with a star on the right) for two courses The second is £14.95 for three courses (menu says Emerald card discount of 25% is valid Mon – Sat = £11.22 if my calculations are right!! Oasis will pay for the first drink up to the value of £2.50 for each person. The meal will be on either Tuesday 6th / Thur 8th / Tues 13th / Tue 20th December 2005 at about 12.30pm . The meal will take about 1 –2 hrs. We may have to arrange several pick ups as last year. I will arrange transport so please complete your details of pick ups, disability etc. If you have a problem with stairs and accessing the coach, please contact me to discuss your disability.
